Recently I had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Dan DeWitt share some wisdom in a small group setting. I was blessed to hear him. Here are some tidbits from what he shared:
- We can view providence better in a rearview mirror
- Competency is not the key, character is the key
- Ambition is not bad if it’s sanctified ambition
- There is not promotion beyond servanthood
- Programs serve the ministry, they are not the ministry
- Wisdom is discovered, not created
- Few problems are solved by running from them
